Aww, damnit, I forgot to post yesterday! I was going to wish everyone a Happy Tanabata and comment on how being on a full moon made it extra fortunate this year. Augh! *rolls around*

Ugh, I cannot sit around on my butt all day today. I cannot! It's sad though, I mostly want to get out of the apartment so I can go buy manga. I AM A SUCH A FANGIRL. Oh well, at least I should clean the litter boxes and do the dishes today. I might get to a little packing if I can get myself started. I wonder if I should get some very tiny plastic baggies to pack the figurines in (god there's so many of them O.o;)? I really want to watch anime today too though. T.T Maybe I'll do that first and then go out right before I have to pick up chiba_yuriko. Yeah, that sounds good. ^.^

I was going to post this really angry drunken LJ post here, but I decided not to. Sparing you guys my drunken depression and angst. There's largely no point to it and I know that. I'm under a lot of pressure right now and it's been getting to me all at once. So, I'm really sorry if I've been extra annoying or critical recently. It's mostly because I'm disappointed in myself. I bully others when I fill up with black gunk when I get like this. I have a lot to be happy about right now along with the stuff that's weighing me down, so I'm trying hard to concentrate on that.

I made a Nia teacup. It's cute. I want to drink tea out of it. But, I think I should sleep now. I need to sleep off the amaretto I drank. And then have a kami eat my black gunk tomorrow.

That's a relief.

(o hai yes I am alive. I've been busy doing a lot of brainstorming for my writing recently, which is why I've been kind of quiet. That, and the stress from looking for a house. FINGERS CROSSED, that will be over soon. Then maybe I can concentrate on my poor neglected blog some more. A LOT has happened, oh my god. I wonder if I can remember it all. @.@)

Okay! Finally got some more of the Fay fic written. The first part of this will sound familiar, because it's pretty much just the last bit I posted but with revisions. I like it much better this time around. I think I've finally managed to add some of the emotional impact I thought it was lacking. Anyway, tell me what you think!

Longer post later, because I've had one written up for DAYS and I keep being too lazy to post it, but I just wanted to throw this out here right now:

Is there anyone at all that either lives in the Western Washington area or is planning to move here in August that would be interested in considering renting a house with a few crazy girls in the Lynnwood area? There are three of us that would really like to find a house to rent, but it would be even better for us if we could get a fourth person. Is anyone interested?

(I would post an ad on Craigslist, but everyone knows how freaking SPECIAL that site is sometimes. >.>;)

Soooo ... Winry has cat asthma. D:

While the Canadians were here, she had this weird episode where she coughed violently like she was trying to up a hairball (which she's been doing a lot recently because it's shedding season and I lost her brush for a while), then breathed really heavily for a while. We thought maybe it was her URI acting up, especially since she was fine later. But then, the rest of the week, she was breathing a little hard on and off. We figured maybe it was an aftereffect of being stressed out by having so many people in the apartment, but we kept an eye on it.

Then, today, when chiba_yuriko got home from work, she found Winry breathing so hard it looked like she was shaking. She promptly phoned me at work to ask what to do, so I told her to call the vet and describe the symptoms. She did so, then called me back to say that the vet told her to bring her in right away. I freaked out internally, but told 'Isha to make an appointment and that I'd let my manager know that I had to go for a bit. Bob-boss is cool that way, and it was slow today anyway because our machines are broken again, so I left at about 2 and headed home, loaded the cat in the carrier and drove her to the vet.

Winry had to get some x-rays and stuff, but the vet was pretty sure from what we told her even before we did that that it was asthma. I didn't even know cats could get asthma. D: She hadn't ever showed any signs of it before, but like with people, it can flare up suddenly and out of nowhere. It could even be due to allergies.

Anyway, we're putting her on anti-inflammatory steroids right now to see where things go. We might have to get her a kitty-adapted inhaler if the symptoms persist. 'Isha thinks it's funny because everyone in her family has asthma except for her. WTF. XD

Bah.

PARTAY TIMEZ TOMORROW. I'm very excited about this. XD

Haha, it's time for Marina's Weekly Post. XD I had another psychotically busy week due to anime night, cleaning and invading Canadians.

- Anime Night was really small this time. XD Just oui_je_danse and Brianna. So, we watched Yuu-Gi-Oh! Abridged and lol'd at it. XD Hopefully we can go back to our normal programming next week. Speaking of next week! yts88 has volunteered their place as a meeting point. What does everyone think of heading out to Fremont? I can take three people in my car. Also, does anyone have any suggestions about food?

Friday: I had to work until 8pm, so I didn't get to see them until after that. Spent that night relaxing and watching vids on YouTube.

Saturday: A whirlwind! Started out over at Alderwood Mall so they could shop at stores they don't have in Canada (and I got delicious alder-smoked salmon from the fish house for lunch <3). Enjoyed the fabulous weather, shopped around, and then once everyone was satisfied, we headed down to Pike Place Market so they could be tourists.

BIG MISTAKE! The masses of humanity were all crammed into that small space! XD Even so, it was fun, the water was beautiful when we could see it, the market was full of flowers and and delicious fruit and I got claustrophobic! XD After that, I got everyone lost in downtown Seattle, but somehow we managed to find our way to Uwajimaya for more shopping. Then people were hungry, so we headed back north for dinner at IHOP and then home for wine and to watch Twilight to make fun of it (I bought the RiffTrax for it, which I'll review on another post). In short, crazy-fun timez! I hadn't gotten to shop in a while, so I indulged a little. My haul:

* A new bathing suit (omg it's a skimpy two-piece. I haven't worn a two-piece since a little girl but goddamn, I liked how it looked on my and I needed a new suit. But oh god so skimpy. D:).
* A new ring ('Isha bought this one). Silver with swirls and stars. <3
* A delicious white peach
* Princess Grey and Chai loose-leaf tea from Market Spice.
* My favorite Kirin bottled milk tea from Uwajimaya

I get to see shadesinrose and kurosakihisoka again in June and then we get to party at AE!

(Speaking of AE, I still gotta make my Sakura-Con post. XD)

Sunday: Consisted of me cleaning out my car completely and then going out to dinner with my mom for Mother's Day. She was dog-sitting so I got some doggie-loves too. <3

So needless to say, I was exhausted. XD

I've got some fandom stuff to talk about, but I think I'll save it for another post. Got some memento_eden tagging posting I gotta get to.

- Surprise bridal shower for nightsinger! <3 That was so much fun (though I can't tell you how hard it was to keep secret XD)! She didn't suspect at all! I had yummy sandwiches and fruit and the venue had a bar so I got some booze and got a little giggly. XD xaandria and Pam, the Maid of Honor, worked so hard. <3 What an awesome gathering (Sora knows so many interesting people XD)!
- Hung out with cryogenia, mikkeneko and hikaru_9 at Cryo's house. ^.^ Geeked out about various things, watched Hagaren: FMA, played DDR, had pizza and played Apples to Apples. I had fun guys! We must do that again (you know, if my work schedule will cooperate XD)!

Sunday:
- Worked. @.@
- Went out for dinner with my dad, then went back to his apartment for a bit to check out his photos from his trip to Italy. I'm so envious. T.T I wanna go to Italy too!

Anime night this week! There's been a change of plans, and the viewing will take place at mine and chiba_yuriko's place again, and we will probably be watching a movie or screening random stuff again. As for food, I had one vote for a potluck, but no one else really had anything else to say so, uh, not sure what to do now. XD It's kind of short notice, so we might have to default back to everyone for themselves. Also, we still need a name! XD

I FINALLY GOT THE SUZUHARU NOVEL! <33333 I've been looking for it all of April, but it seems most stores weren't carrying the nice hardcover version (and no vendors at SakuraCon had it!), so I finally had to resort to ordering it off of Amazon. I CAN'T WAIT TO START READING IT!

For now though, I think I'm going to go back to torturing myself with RG Veda.
